Actually I dont think the 12,25x3,75 is a bad prop for this motor on a two stroke 50 such as the west.

Its the fourstrokes at lower rpm that are not suiting the lower pitch props.

I do agree though that 13x6 is a good selection for a motor that will swing it... i.e. fourstroke.

I think that these 13" blades are too much ultimately on the 50 size two strokes... if not at the beginning, in time lag will ocur and perhap extra heat and then just when you are trying to get out of a low level 3D manouvre you dont have what you want when you want it
