Yes I did go and help him. He was continuously trying to land with the wind instead of into it, and trying to take of with the wind. He couldn't figure out why it was taking him the entire length of the field to take off (just barely making it), as well as almost taking out fences at the ends of the field when he landed (too fast). After some repeated reminders, he got the idea, and followed my suggestions, saving his plane from wrecks three times.
