My YS 63 did 11,900 on 13x4W with 20\20 Yamada mix.

I heard West 50 did 12,200 static same prop.

13k sounds a little optimistic to me? but airbourne you will find your Saito has better throttle responce over a 2 stroke.

I am now using 13x6 but alas have not tach'd motor with this combi.

West 35 will run on anything but avoid castor Mine had 11x4 apc.

Tapping piano wire sounds hard work!

Why not use tapped 3mm rod?
