Hey chopz, when you pinch that line you are starving the engine of fuel, and nitro engines will run faster when the fuel to air ratio/mixture is lean. So you would automatically assume that the leaner the mixture the more power the engine will have. Well, thats true to a point, you normally will lean the engine after you break it in, but not so lean it engine over heats. So yes, it is normal the engine would "race" as you pinched the fuel supply line.
