Hey chopz, when you pinch that line you are starving the engine of fuel, and nitro engines will run faster when the fuel to air ratio/mixture is lean. So you would automatically assume that the leaner the mixture the more power the engine will have. Well, thats true to a point, you normally will lean the engine after you break it in, but not so lean it engine over heats. So yes, it is normal the engine would "race" as you pinched the fuel supply line.
I hope this helps, and have fun!!

hey John, No dont richen anything yet.. You need to complete the break-in with the settings that came from the factory. Then you will tune the engine to suite your needs(Usually a lean setting). and the LSN should be tuned to hold an idle, and when you pinch the fuel line going into the HSN it should take about 7 seconds for the engine to die, it will rev but it should quit in about 7 seconds. Its normal to rev before it does quit.
You will find the N-Tune tuning dial helpful. They are located @ [link=http://www.rchardware.com/]http://www.rchardware.com/[/link]. The price is right and they are such an incredible help while tuning.
Hope this helps some.
Good luck and Have fun!!

hey dog what i meant the say was that it stays running when pinched for a while it does not shut off!!....... i have already messed with the settings from the factory ...I have left the top end pretty rich 1 turm in from flush and low speed 1/2 turn out from flush as my factory settings...as per andrew at cen.....
but i have ran about 5-6 tanks sporaticlly on and off have not gotten temp past 155 degrees so just driving truck around slowly to keep break in process.
thanks Dog!!!!

John, then yes you will need to lean it out after you finish break-in. So if you feel you are finished with break-in then start to lean it out 1/8 of turn at a time both lsh and hsn you will find the official CEN tuning guide [link=http://www.cenracing.com/downloads/Engine%20Doc%20NX76.doc]Here.[/link]
Godd luck have fun!!
