I would say the wind was there was a breeze of about 10mph, not windy. Daves Flash weighs around 21lbs dry I believe but i could be wrong and he will correct me later on this thread no doubt. As for landing speed, they all land as slow at the point of touchdown if you keep flareing but if the pilot has a tarmac runway then the approach tends to be faster because it is unimportant. Whereas if you are flying from a smaller grass strip more effort is put in to bleeding off the speed and setting up prior to rounding out. Of course pilot skill is a large factor but the Flash is capable of flying slowly if managed correctly. Hope that made sense.
