About half way through a gentleman’s turbine flight 2 Police cars came flying down the park entrance road and drove straight out to the flight line. They hopped out of the cars and started to walk over to the pilot of the jet I have pictured below. Luckily the event staff headed them off and cooled the situation down. By this time a 3rd officer in a Tahoe I assume the captain or higher up showed up and drove out across the infield to the flight line. I guess there was a complaint that some planes were above the 400' limit on several occasions. Everything turned out to be OK in the end but it did cause a little drama about midday... I did notice however the cops stopped on their way out to watch Billy’s A-10 and I think they maybe back for flight lessons.. They look pretty impressed.
