Was it LAPD or Van Nuys Airport Police? Usually it is the Airport Police that show up and from the time a pilot reports us to them getting to the field a turbine model is usually done flying. It always comes down to having a spotter looking for full scale traffic to alert the models pilot. Unfortunatly, that responsibility is forgetten about on a regular basis.
