I did all of the above! I purchased the Gen 3 boom and skid set on e-bay last night. I also purchased the vortex inner/outer shaft and shortened flybar kit from bladecxpro.com and the aluminum head from Microheli. (Though after reading some other posts...I hope I don't have any problems with the parts from bladecxpro.com). I just want to do all I can to make sure this doesn't happen again.

As for the wind....perhaps that caused it. There wasn't much by way of wind out there, but perhaps it got a gust up high. I bought an inner/outer shaft from the hobby shop and straightened the flybar last night and she flew fine. There was a little bit of vibration, but I think that is from the flybar. When the new one comes in, that should take care of that.
