fordy8 here is some pics of a 3 vue. I used these to get the scale of things if you still remember your math. Just kidding but these were very helpful to me. This is what I used to get the scale of things. I printed them out and then measured distances and then caculated my measurements. On flaps I used the inner flaps stock as they came and just fiberglassed them as they were. I then measure out my distance and cut the aileron off at the correct distance to turn that into a flap. I didn't go to the trouble Luke did on the flaps to make them perfect scale. To mimick the cloth on the flap I just took 3/4 inch tape and taped the flap going across leaving about 1/8" between the tape. I went all the way accross this way then primered them again. When dry I pulled the tape off giving a appearance that it was fabric covered. I just light sanded them before painting color. The ailerons were just a piece of 1/8" balsa cut to shape with 1/2 ribs glued on top and bottom with a doubler at each end. Glued on a 1/2" square of balsa to the front and sanded to shape.
