Default RE: Nitroplanes Pitts Special 40

I didn't do anything about the struts besides running some medium ca around the attachment points. I have had the plane assembled for about 2 months now and just pulled the wing off to check something and there wasn't much of a pull on the struts, they seemed to have taken shape to the bend somewhat. I am going to fly it like this, if I botch a landing I will check them over carefully. I mounted the saito horizontal, why hide a nice looking engine like that? Plus I have had nothing but problems with my superchipmunk with an inverted install, always having to close off the high speed needle when filling the tank.
