The full-scale Chipmunk is a primary trainer, and most Chipmunk models make a great second plane/first low-wing aerobatic model to fly.

This is not to be confused with the Super Chipmunk, which is a Chipmunk modified for faster aerobatic performance. Chipmunks make good second planes, Super Chipmunks are more for experienced aerobatic pilots.
