The tail looks like it has a lot of surface area, but the wing looks longer than what you'd see on a Super Chipmunk. A shorter wing aids in faster roll rates, so they usually "clip" the wing to make the Super Chipmunk.
Your Chipmunk will be fine as a second plane, but you'll want to make sure the throws on the rudder and elevator are setup up VERY GENTLY so you don't overcontrol the airplane. Your other plane has a shorter wing on it and is probably more aerobatic overall, although the tail surfaces look more typical of a sport plane.
