Default Li-Ion basic question: meter

I have an airplane with a 5600mah/7.4V battery for the radios and a 2800mah/7.4V for ignition.
I've read up and understand how these work, however, I am looking for an INEXPENSIVE voltmeter to read these batteries.
I have a Triton Jr. charger I bought to charge them and they read voltage, however, I don't believe this puts a load on them to get a good reading.
Questions:
1. What is the appropriate load to put on batteries of this size to get a true accurate reading?
2. Where do I find an inexpensive voltmeter that will read these. Nothing fancy, just basic.
