I did a full throttle knife edge at about 30 feet over the runway. As I passed the south end, Gregg Fullington and Jorge Villa that were spotting for me started scrambling and pulling me back from the pilots pad.When I turned to see what's going on, I noticed DJ's big Extra at full throttle heading straight at us at eye level about 20 feet away.
I guess in order to avoid us he pulled straight up which put his airplane hovering in a stall mode right over our head.
He fortunately recovered his big big airplane but it was too late for my Boomerang.
It hit the ground at full throttle. The Debris field was more than 50 feet.
Thank god no one got hurt.
