Default Composite racing wing

AV8TOR-

My firewall is actually nomex honeycomb with glass on both sides, 3/8" of an inch thick. It originated from some floorboard in a 747! I have a friend that works at an airline and gets old floorboard material which he gives to me from time to time. Works great for R/C!

I've seen 1/4" or 3/8" thick endgrain balsa with carbon and glass bagged over it on 75 cc motors. Something in that arena is about right.

How big is your firewall dimensionally?

Davis-

As for the race on March 24th, it is in Sacramento. go to: http://www.sacramento-rc-flyers.org/...rds_020324.jpg for the flyer. Their main site is at: http://www.sacramento-rc-flyers.org

We will not be going since our Tsunami is not done. My brother Chris had strep throat a week ago and is again sick this week. This, plus our busy schedules basically shut down building, not to mention the fact that the weather hasn't been decent enough to paint with.
