Ahh, summer...

So, an update is in order.
College is out for the summer and I'm going to enjoy myself. Had a rough ride this spring and didn't get to do much building. We're going to go back into the garage and start building now. I'm aiming to primer the Tsunami in this thread today or tomorrow and start layup on mine. The goal is to have two Tsunamis ready for the July 21 race in Sacramento. Seems feasible to me. I will be starting a new thread since this one is up to 121 replies....
I did get out to the field yesterday to fly a smaller .40 size Tsunami, powered by a Dubb Jett 40 quickee motor. Unfortunately, the bearings are shot, so time to send it off to Dubb Jett. This did get me fired up to fly the big one again, so I'm eager to work on the composite ones and get out into the garage!

Small, built up Tsunami minus motor. I built this in 1996 and it's still going strong.
