A review of the Great Planes Tiger Moth ARF at the AMA's Sport Aviator website suggests that the plane is so easy to fly that it would make the ideal 2nd plane. Most ideal "2nd Planes" could be used to train on if a flight instructor and a buddy box were used. In fact, the Tiger Moth was a primary trainer for three decades, so a good scale model of the Tiger Moth would logically be easy flying and a good R/C trainer.
