Default RE: AMA buddy box question

JR & Spektrum buddy boxes have batteries. All of the others I know of draw power from the "master" TX.

A fully functional TX can also be used as a buddy box. Just NEVER turn the power on in any of them. It's automatic as needed. Turning on a std TX when used as a buddy box will result in an unwanted transmission unless the RF module is removed or the crystal.
