RE: Transporting plane in pick-up bed...
The simpleist way is to use a sheet of plywood that fits the bed of the truck. Then use some small screw eyes or cup hooks , placed where you need them to anchor the plane and wing with rubber bands. Then the shock cord style bungee cord to anchor your field box. You can drill holes and mount 1/2 dowels upright if you want to attach the wing{s} to save space. If you do that place a piece of soft foam around the dowel, and against the plywood to prevent chaffing of the wing covering. If you don't have a cap or tonue cover on the truck, keep a large garbage bag handy for those sudden showers that pop up, you can cover the plane and wing to keep water out of the electronics and servos. Total cost approx $25.00 Being able to transport planes back and forth safely PRICELESS!!
