Keep it simple.
I use standard phono plug male on twin core cable direct to 2Volt lead acid/gel battery kept on the ground,plugs into phono female situated at a convenient point on airframe.
Negative lead connected direct to a screw head on turbine mount,posative lead to a small croc clip onto top pin of glow plug.
If you can get at glow plug easily,use standard glow clip.
