If the tail boom was a little warm, then you have a wire that's touching it. The carbon fiber in the boom and most of the heli, is very conductive of electricity... Almost a dead short, If you have an ohm meter, take one probe and put it near the main frame, take the other probe and put it near the tail housing.... Wow, almost a dead short... Check your wiring...

Well, today while adjusting the blade tracking there was a little puff of smoke from the 3 in 1.little to say the tail motor wont run.If I plug the tail motor into the main motor lead the tail will spin. There must have been major melt down the tail boom was even alittle warm. I gotta say I am so frustrated with this heli stuff I think it might be smart to walk away for a while,Maybe if I can a day or two
