Default RE: Someone explain this, please...

It's Crazy!!

Not too long before the Aurora...There was a New In Box Hanno that went for just under $500usd...I'll admit...It was Beautiful...but geeze...I actually think that was a MarketPlace type of AD rather than an Auction...

Then the Aurora...Which I (and I think several other's around here) would've love to have...It's actually a Dream Aircraft of mine...I bid $265...No Chance...he he

But.....Alas.....Thanks to Flywilly and Bootlini (and my existing Aurora45 kit)....I do believe my dream will come true via scratch building....

I've never scratch built anything before...But I think I'm kinda excited about it!! It should be Fun!! With Bootlini's Play-By-Play Tutorial(Thread)...And a beautiful set of drawings from Flywilly...I should be able to look at my 45 and just make the same stuff..Just a bit bigger...he he

I was thinking I could use my Root and Tip wing ribs out of the Aurora45...And pick a "scaled up" size to get the Airfoil(s)....Then I was planning to cut my own cores...I have a Hotwire thingy but have never used it...So I thought it would be fun to give that a shot too...

I know this is common place for allot of you guy's...Scratch building that is....But since I'm new to it I'm kinda nervous...My Aurora45 kit was sorta intimidating buy it's self...Probably the most "complex" kit that "I" have...I was already worried about screwing it up...lol

But I'll get over the nervous part I think...It will be Fun....And since I can't afford to get a nib "kit" via eBay...he he

Sorry...Didn't mean to stray off topic...

Have Fun!!
