Don't know about the 1.2 but I have a GMS 0.47 and it's great. Runs smooth w/ good power. I'd buy another GMS in a second.

On another note I've been reading that the Phoenix Extra is sensitive to snapping with too much elevator. Would it be wise to set up less throw than the recommended 35mm? I'm still trying to make sure I have everything just right before taking it up.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
