RE: Introducing, : "The Machine" ;)
Don't remember a router from some time ago, but I spent a lot of time figuring out exactly what would be best for what we did. I ended up buying a unit on Ebay new, paid 1200 or so for it. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought just the machine, no electronics on ebay for half the cost, and then bought what's called "gecko drives" you can google that. Cause the electronics that came with it, were junk and I burned it up in no time, the gecko drives are a bit more expensive, but turn out to be the difference in performance from a 10 dollar servo to an 8611. Had I known that, I would have spent my money differently. Live and learn.
I also have access to a friend who has the below, I believe he will start offering services for metal and wood parts in these forums.
The search on ebay is "CNC Router" I believe. Expensive, but Now that I have it, if it broke I'd buy another one tomorrow.
