Default RE: Pentathlon Build Thread

I got a chance to fly the Benevolent Creators prototype again this weekend as i delivered the fuse for the addition of a beauty spot or two.

Let me share a little about the plane...

WOW.

nuff said. haha, no, seriously, i was able to fly some more, Mark has moved the CG slightly by going to a lithium battery back and i think the plane is totally dialed in right now.
I flew the entire advanced sequence for the first time ever with ease (cept for WRONG RUDDER). I guess no matter how good they fly you cant hide wrong rudder inputs.. hahahaha.

Mark is running a YS 160 and i struggle with using the throttle stick to my liking but i learned slowly that ht eplane flies very constant speeds with the YS in is.
Vertical lines are dead straight, down lines go exactly where you point it.
Point rolls require the thought of rudder if slying at a good pace and if you fly slowly obviously a tad bit more and it locks in. Inverted flight is a breath of down curently set up along with 45deg uplines... just point, roll it over and lean into the elevator.
Snaps are crisp and break well, ofcouse, so much f a snap is personal pilot setup, i over rotated a lot but when asked to stop it stopped.. not sure if i am clear, the plane flew great, i suck. hehehe

i flew in a dead cross wind today and it tracks nicely, even with the fins, its crabs gently to maintain a solid predicatable track. Stall turns are great, it does require a little (2 clicks) of power to rotate nicely i felt, i think this is because of the fins, too much and you will "crave" the stall so let the plane slow down, keep a little throttle then get in the rudder, it rotates beautifully and drops true.

I am very anxious to get the electric version in the air, i know it will slow like i want it to and allow me to present well.

More to come as the build continues... thanks for everyones attention.
