Default RE: Monster GT anyone have one?

Hey Art...

I have been working with a STS.30 from STS pro.....

He is a top rate seller....

His Rev2 does have a wicked pinch. I have had a few issues during breakin that I hope I have resolved. Pay attention to your shimming, and I just teflon taped the threads on my LSN. Getting the proper tune on the LSN has been very difficult.

I am interested in your setup sheet.

Here is where I am today BTW:

STS .30

HSN 3.25 out
LSN 6 out

Running roughly 250 degrees
Mccoy mc-59
1 silver 1 thick copper shim
30% Odonnels fuel
Just teflon taped my LSN

1 gallon through the motor. I was under shimmed by the thick copper .2 shim and did not have the teflon tape last run those are things I just fixed, so they might make a big difference.

The problems I have had were bog on take off and lack of power. If I leaned the LSN and HSN even a bit I would get wheelie power off the line, but cut out going into second gear....So hopefully the new fixes solve that. When this mill makes power it is pretty darn strong, it is just getting it tuned in right that is a pain......Missing a shim is totally my fault....So I do not blame the mill for any issues, but it is a finicky beast...Especially compared to the LRP Spec3.....

Will keep you all posted.

Scott
