I must say Brett, if you ge a chance ( i know you are buried at school) and you want to learn or appreciate building, get a kit and take your time.

i have really enjoyed this a lot, the beer is an added bonus. I have not run into an real challenges.. seriously, only the firewall thingy in the beginning which could have been avoided if i had paid attention, but otherwise, nothing major.. just simple building techiques painstakingly put together.

i am hoping that things will come together so i can at least display the plane at Temple, and then debut in contest form at the next event.

SOME MIRACLE could ring this thing together and we might maiden the Friday before Temple if the pattern gods and other planets line up but we will see.

I have spent the last 4 hours sanding, shaping, trimming, cutting servo pockets in the wings and its almost ready to cover. i am very very excited.

i would take pics but no need just yet, a few maybe tomorrow wil sum up my progress.
