No servos or radio battery, the Rx just plugs in and runs of the 7.2V pack...... Go with a 4 channel radio. it can work with a 2, but you will be flipping trim tabs back and forth just to run it. On the 4 channel unit, one stick handles the throttle and turret rotation. The other steering and gun elevation.
Are you planning to battle with it, or just run it for fun? Our battlefield may be a bit of a drive, but one of our members makes the drive up from San Deigo for almost every battle. I drive from Dana Point.
