You can trim the 601 with the radio, then reset the avcs mode to eliminate the drift caused by the triming in normal mode.

After you trim the tail in normal mode and flip to avcs mode it will drift (of course). To reset this quick, land and flip from normal to avcs mode 3 times fast. Dont touch the rudder for a sec. this will reset its neutral location. Also, if you have to add alot of trim, adjust some of it back with linkages.

I missed this the first time through the setup too.
