Well I took off the fuel tank, roll bar, disconnected linkages, and then pulled out the tranny and tore the tranny apart in about 30 minutes. I think I have had that thing apart to many times and can do it to fast now lol. Anyways I can to discover that my 1st gear is as smooth as a babies bottom. There are two teeth left on the thing lol. Now time for a couple questions. Would you guys suggest just replacing the gear or both because I cant see any damage on the second but the teeth from the other were all over in there and I was driving a bit in second gear only. Or should I replace the whole thing (shaft and gears)? Last question..... I am going to be cleaning the whole thing due to the amount of crap in there from the gear so what grease should I buy?
