Just wanted to report back. I flew my Raptor w/RevMax by swapping the gyro gain channel 5 and the channel 7 gyro heading hold switch. It worked flawlessly. I also fly in Head Hold mode so I don't need diiferent gains. This allows me to now setup the Revmax to be off in normal and on in Idle 1 and 2 (ST1 and ST2). I'm a happy camper now. Go Hitec....
Just a thought. Even if you did not always fly in HH mode on your gyro, by using channel 7, you could simply set the EPA for each switch postion and toggle back and forth between HH and Dampening. I was actually planning this with the chopper I am ordering, since I don't really want to use a flight mode for HH on/off. Using the GYRO setting in the flight modes to set governor speed seems like a great idea, maybe I'll have to get a governor too now.
