I would like to know if there is way or version upgrade for the Eclipse 7 QPCM radio to enable multiple EPA settings for each Flight Mode (Normal, ST1, ST2) in Helicopter Mode?
I'm trying to configure the Throttle Jockey RevMax with a different headspeed for each flight mode. The Revmax headspeed is set by setting the EPA/ATV on the radio, thus why I need the ability to have a different EPA setting for each flight mode like the Gyro gain can be set differently based on the flight mode.
I love Hitec and hope that I don't have to buy another brand radio for this feature. Thanks for any assistance.

The EPA percentages are not assignable in various flight conditions. EPA is used for system wide settings to limit travel volume and or servo binding, thus the limitations thereof.
You maybe able to accomplish your desires with dual rates as they effectively accomplish what you’re asking for by reducing travel volume and or the control signal in multiple flight conditions.

mglavin...Thanks for your reply, but dual rates won'y work for me. The dual rates aren't assigned to a specific channel that the RevMax can read like the Channel 7/Aux or Channel 5/Gyro Gain. I may just swap the servo leads for Channel 7 and Channel 5 since I always fly in Head Hold Mode anyway and allow the channel 5 to talk to the Revmax.
Questions:
My Eclipse 7 QPCM says ver 12, is there a later version?
If so, what changed from 12 to ???
Do I need to update to the latest version?
Again mglavin I appreciate your reply.

You are correct in that dual rates are assignable only to aileron, elevator and rudder I suspect on second thought it's not feasible to wye the rudder channel to the gyro gain input. Channel five maybe the ticket...
I'll have to verify this, but as far as I know version #12 is the latest software offering for the Eclipse.

Thanks mglavin. Do you know how soon Hitec Spectrum Technology will be out? I'm a Hitec man. I have Hitec Eclipse 7 as you know and had the Optic 6 and for my R/C Cars I use the Hitec Lynx 3D. Do you know if Hitec has made a radio to replace the Lynx 3D? My nose has been kind of buried in the Helicopter.

Just wanted to report back. I flew my Raptor w/RevMax by swapping the gyro gain channel 5 and the channel 7 gyro heading hold switch. It worked flawlessly. I also fly in Head Hold mode so I don't need diiferent gains. This allows me to now setup the Revmax to be off in normal and on in Idle 1 and 2 (ST1 and ST2). I'm a happy camper now. Go Hitec....

ghtracey...Thanks for the input, but I setup my gyro and channel 7 just as you said. I have both HH and Rate mode set, so I do have the luxury of both.
