Is it the Great Planes Gee Bee Profile you ordered? I ask because I have one in th box and have thought about putting it together for a long time. I have a new Magnum 36 that I would think would match really well. Another thing I thought of doing is bashing the tail feathers a little to have the top part of the fin become a balance tab, as well as the outer edges of the horiz stab becoming balance tabs on the elevators. The original classic Gee Bee shape is not compromised, but the control surfaces are enlarged. Then widening the ailerons by 1/2 or even 3/4". I read the instruction book and it looks like a very easy plane to build.
