I have never flown the pts mustang so I really cant comment on it. However, many trainer and 2nd plane type models will tend to loose altitude inverted bc of certain features that help them fly straight and level. So if you can master a nice level roll in your mustang you will be a step ahead when you move on to a more aerobatic plane.
