Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to RC's and my "boating" experience besides toys involves a couple of hydro "flyers" i've built from kits.
What I have is a 20+ year old V-hull toy boat that I had as a kid - I know what I need to do concerning my current transmitter and receivers, but I need some help in choosing a motor (and mounting it) as well as some details concerning the current driveshaft/rudder, servos etc.
Basically it's a plastic v-hull about 22 inches in length by 8-10 inches wide. It has a single engine/propeller and originally was set up for a large battery pack with 2 servos and mechanical speed control - it never worked very well originally (mostly due to it being made in 1988).
Thanks in advance,
Stephen Foster
