well, my high figure was for an outboard. guess my problem is I've never made a single 540 setup, was just a rough estimate. really depends on ability and how far he wants to go, but yeah it could be cheaper. I'm wondering though if the hull can handle any speed, I did up a nikko boat thinking the hull was okay, nope couldnt even turn. well turned well one way and hardly turned the other.
