Its only a single speed. I checked again and sure enough my spur gear was stripped. I couldnt see it last night in the dark when it happened. But it is still overheating. Whats a common place where air tries to find its way in? Also, any suggestions to lengthen the life of a spur gear? I know how to mesh the gears properly, I just didnt know if anyone knew a secret I didnt. Thanks. Arlin.
