2 issues re; the subject.
Is there a source for 4/40 rod, threaded each end, 6" long?
Also, I have used a 4/40 die on 4/40 rod resulting in the dia.of the threaded portion the same as the unthreaded portion. This threaded portion is then a bit too small to fit properly in a 4/40 clevis.
When I buy already threaded 4/40 rods the threaded portion dia. is a bit greater than the unthreaded, resulting in a good fit in a clevis. What am I missing here?
