I've been a bit lax in keeping up with the pics for the cowl construction, but it's now starting to take shape. I've got all the major construction for the cowl complete - now I just need to get it trimmed to fit around the engine and do the final fill/finish work. I can't stress enough how useful a small block plane is for shaping a built-up balsa cowl. Even with the plane, I have at least 4 hours of planing and sanding in the cowl, thus far.

I've also managed to get the cockpit floor installed. However, both the rear piece and the instrument panel were somewhat undersized for the fuse, so I had to reconstruct replacement parts of the correct size.
