Default Practice makes you good...not the chassis

So, the team is getting ready for D1GP, the 1st week in May, so we thought we'd get in some runs today and do a photo shoot, etc... Well, Justin (RS4) has the TT01 and a 19t motor and he drifted circles around the ENTIRE TEAM with our MR4TC's, TC4's, SSG's, and the like. Granted, he's been practicing 10x's the amount of time the rest of us have...but, I say that to say chassis and setup isn't as important as actual seat time with your ride. Now, once we got adjusted to the track, everyone did pretty well. I was actually getting quite a few clean drifts in towards the end, but with my 35t motor, I couldn't begin to keep up with Jus and his 19t. Even when I was clean, he slaughtered me on speed. Hen and his brushless kept up with him for a bit, but Jus was clearly the DK (Drift King) of the day. Earn's car was plagued with problems most of the day, as was mine with my motor (i swapped in a 19t but blew it before I could get used to it, forcing me to drop back down to the 35t).

All in all, it was a pretty fun time, but it's clear that practice does make perfect. Not to be outdone, but Jus ended up breaking a rim (or two) and trickled off towards the end. Even then, he was still a MONSTER!!!! Nice job team.
