Hello,
The Combat models F-16 offers a low cost alternative to fly a jet that is very scale with out the high cost of a typical ducted fan or turbine investment. I have owned several F-16s; BVM, Yellow , and two CBM's. I have to say Fun for the Price, you can not beat the CBM F-16! If you have absolutely nothing in the way of equipment " Radio, Engine ,Glue, Paint" you would need spend 500 to 650 to a CBM F-16 in the air. Contrast that to 2500 + for your average ducted fan or 6000 + for a turbine you can see that if money is a issue CBM is the best way to go.
Now I am not by any means suggesting that CBM is better than any of the other products; as I mentioned before I have had about every F-16 that has been on the market and I have loved them all. Its just that CBM offers a product that requires a low cost investment that delivers a great deal of fun.
The size of the CBM F-16 is about the same as a BVM or Yellow but only requires a 45 instead of a 91 because the jet only weighs about 8 pounds. The performance is outstanding for having such a small engine. Top speed is about 110 level flight. Flight characteristics are very predictable and forgiving.
I think the best feature of all is the comfort level I have flying this model; I will fly in just about any condition. I don't have the stress of flying a 6000+ aircraft or have to search out a runway that is 500 + feet long. I know that if I do crash it is very easy to do field repairs. I remember once " Thank God" I had completely ripped out my landing gear, tore of the nose and busted a wing tip "due to a bad cross wind or so I like to claim

"; was back in the air in less than 30 minutes.
Ok enough of me talking about the CBM F-16 I think you can see I would recommend it.
Good Luck.
David.
