Alright guys..... I have a g23, and would like to know what temperature to shoot for when cowled..... last night I ran it and my thermometer read 270 F @ the spark plug..... am I too lean???around 230-240F right after turning it off and the crank was cold enough to hold my hand on it, the the heat irradiated and the crank got to 130F..... I was running a 16x6-10 and an Abell lite exh diverter....
any help will be greatly appreciated
thx
Here is an inflight plot of my BME 100 (four flights). 230 degrees is about what it shows most of the time on both cylinders. Not that whwn it was on the ground prior to the first flight was the highest recorded temp
Recorded and plotted with the Eagletree system.
