First RC Plane/Kit Finished (LT-40)!!!
I have uploaded some pics of my finished project. This was my first R/C plane and kit, and I am completely satisfied and surprised at the results of my craftsmanship.
I know its a very basic cover design, but I did'nt want to do a complex design on my first plane, but overall I am surprised at how the monokote turned out. Wasn't hard to work with and only had a few stubborn wrinkles to work with, as well as some small holes (patched them up easily).
As you can see in the pictures, I did a tail-dragger conversion and substituted the stock muffler with a custom muffler.
The engine i installed is a TT .46 Pro
I want to thank RCKen (for his detailed LT-40 Build Thread), Somegeek (for his LT-40 Build Thread as well, espicially the tail-dragger conversion), Bkdavy (for his general help and guidance, aslo is my trainer for my maiden flight), and all the members here at RCU for answering my few questions I had.
All i can do now is to await its maiden flight...
