Default RE: Seagull Super Star ARTF

Sherman, it will! It took me about 4 weekends to get mine set up to where I feel it's neutral now. I have a ton of right thrust and some up thrust in the motor mount. I found this plane to fly best on the APC 17x4W on the Webra 1.20. Allows a very smoooooooth pull through all the power range, unlimited vertical about 3/4 throttle and acts like an air brake on the down lines. The more I fly this plane, the more I am really enjoying it. I started out with almost 4 ounces of lead under the tank for balance, now almost all of that is gone except 1/2 ounce. She is snappy on the elvator inputs, but, that is what makes this thing such a dream to fly sequence with! I have 3 rates set in, Landing rates, set at recommended lows, Imac rates, which are mostly just above rec. highs, and 3D rates which is max deflection all surfaces. I have found that this plane demands a high torque rudder servo, mainly because of the side area. I am flying it with JR 821's all the way around, except I had a Hitec 545 on the rudder. It would not hold the rudder in KE flight. Switched it out for an 821, and all is good now, she'll KE loop on IMAC rates

Wow, that got long winded!
