RE: GP Venus II
As an engineer, I love the idea of a 4 stroke. But at this stage, I need an engine that I can go out with day after day and have it running on the first flip, with no maintanence. I found that that 2 stroke O.S. engines fit that bill nicely! Great consistency in quality and run with low, low upkeep. The field I fly at is about 1/2 mile away from work, so I try to squeeze some flying in at lunch. All the other guys that do this fly electics and make fun of me. But I digress....
I've been flying .46 size airplanes up to now (mainly a Koas with a 46AX) using Futabe S3151 digital servos. Are this too marginal for the Venus II? Any recomendations?
Thanks for all the advice,
Jim
