Default RE: Seagull Super Star ARTF

The SS flew again yesterday with the 18x6 prop, at wide open throttle the tips are barking pretty bad. On the up vertical the plane pulls to the canopy, which is odd, since the plane is still nose heavy, that is after straight and level trim is set. Also , on hard elevator pull to vertical the plane rolls to the right, I may have too much expo on the elevator or I may have to move the motor mount around to cure it. A big surprise is it would not do a nice clean snap, I need to play with more elevator and rudder inputs. The plane flys well but is a long way from IMAC standards, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Ths locals at the field think it is a good flyer. mtwister, what kind of vertical up snaps are you getting? Rob
