RE: best prop for FA 82
The .82 will rev the snot out of the APC 14x4w. I don't know that it revs it too high, but I've seen .82s go as high as 10700-10800 with the APC 14x4w and a lot of nitro. That said, people are flying their .82s at these static RPMs (which means quite a bit higher in the air) without any problems.
I use an APC 15x4w as I did not like the way it turned my Zinger Pro 15x4 at all and I was not sure if revving above 10k RPM was good for the engine. That said, my .82 was somewhat defective, and is currently being replaced with a brand new one. I'll post again if the new one changes my opinion.
