RE: Dave Patrick super cub
Well, truth be told...I had my first choice to be a new cub from Dave Patrick Models simply because I'm a scale loving guy and the reviews were in the 10 out of 10 arena. That said, things started going south with this company before I got to order. Call it luck if you will, but I started reading the posts and my plan slammed into the wall. The ONLY reason I got in on this conversation is because I got taken for some money from a so-called builder in Ohio who has shut down his website and changed his phone numbers since I sent him my money. He simply disappeared. That's why I sympathize with these guys who send their money in good faith.
I'm curious though, Bud. I understand you love your DPM cub as well you should. But you know from what you've read about the service dept. that you won't get served if you call or write them. You've read posts from the other guys who are waiting months on end for their parts (prepaid or not). What are YOU going to do when you need a certain part that only DPM can provide. I'm not trying to corner you - I think it's a legitimate question. What options do you have besides knocking on Daves own front door with an order list in your hand?
