Shift should be no problem, you can program the Optic 6 for either, use positive shift for the JR and Airtronics receivers, negative for Hitec or Futaba.
Not to mention the fact that the RECEIVER in the flight pack is ALSO shift selectable, so it could be set to work with a negative shift transmitter.
